Update for Friday..

Pat (from Sydney) kept his word in wanting to visit Edi despite the fact that Edi won't be able yet to make the train journey back to Sydney with him.  That was the original plan.  They have been friends far longer than I've known Edi, and its the kind of friendship that makes you really feel good inside. Thanks Pat ~!!!

"Hi all,  some photos covering his physiotherapy activities.

Pat visited Edi last night (Thur, 17/12/09).  We arrived at around 5.40 pm and stayed until 8.05 pm.  Edi had been looking forward to Pat's visit since yesterday.  Although the night nurse, Julia didn't mind us staying beyond 8 pm (end of visiting hours) and Edi had actually checked with her for permission, he was tired out by then."
